Useful Information for Your Retreat

For training, it is good to bring loose trousers or shorts in the summer, t-shirts and in the winter some over-clothes or track suit wear. It is useful to have a pair of running shoes for jogging and stamina training, but for regular training, students usually wear a type of thin-sole trainers that can be bought easily after arriving to the retreat center.

As we move towards the colder seasons, the weather can be quite cold before 10 am and after 6pm. Long John's are very helpfuls for more comfortable workouts and sleep.

It is advisable to bring a power adapter if you are bringing any electrical equipment with you from your home country. There are power sockets in the rooms that students can use. You could also bring a basic medical bag with you and any other special items from your home that are unlikely to be available near the retreat center.

ATM's in Morocco can be used to take out money using a card. Cash can also be sent from a foreign country through the Wise application. Traveler's cheques can be cashed at a bank but may take a little while to process.  Please note that the closest ATM is within 25 Km of the center. Plan accordingly

We do request a 500 dhs/$50 Security deposit to be refunded in full the day of your departure assuming your room is returned in good condition.

In Morocco, local clinics and hospitals are well-equipped and have many western medicines. In a medical bag, it is convenient to have things like sunscreen, insect repellant, band aids, some cream or ointment for cuts and bruises, something for an upset stomach or nausea, any prescription or allergy medicine and multi-vitamins if taken.

Visitors are not recommended to drink un-boiled tap water in Morocco. For training, students either fill up their bottle with pre-boiled water from us freely or buy boxes of bottled water as they are quite inexpensive.

You may need to fill out an immigration form Once you Land:

Also, The immigration Line Can be pretty long sometimes so feel to grab a Book. 

Once you step out of the airport building, you will notice benches on your right hand side (Past the Cofee Kiosk), make yourself comfortable there. Our taxi driver (Adil or one of this brothers) will be there to pick you up.

Should you land after 3pm, please ensure to have dinner as our kitchen will be closed at your time of arrival. Fruits and light snacks will be available.

It is recommended to exchange your currency at the Moroccan airport as they feature good exchange rates, we can otherwise do that for you for 40€.

When you are out of the retreat center, we would like to recommend the following for whom a steady connection is important: Getting a SIM card for your phone (use carrier INWI). 150 dhs (15€) refill should comfortably last you for 1 week and you can share the connection to your computer.  Private office space with fast internet is also available for rent for 14€ per day.
